Travel to/from Charles de Gaulle airport
Paris Charles de Gaulle airport is located 23 kilometres (14 miles) from the city centre. After your flight, you have numerous transport options into central Paris. Buses and taxis depart from outside Arrivals and travel into Paris on autoroute (motorway) A1. The fastest way into Paris after your flight is by train from the railway station at Terminal 2. Catch the RER (Paris Regional Express Rail), which will take you directly from the terminal building into central Paris (Gare du Nord and Châtelet-Les Halles) in around 30 minutes. There is also a TGV (high-speed train) station inside the terminal building which can take you to most cities in France and Belgium.
Travel to/from Orly airport
Paris Orly airport is located 13 km (8 miles) South of central Paris. After your flight, there are several options to get to the city centre. You can catch a bus (the Orlybus offers a direct service) or a taxi, both of which take 20-30 minutes. The RER (Paris Regional Express Rail) is also available and takes 25 minutes. However, you will need to reach the RER station by either bus or shuttle train (Orlyval), which takes 5-10 minutes.
